Q: Does System Optimizer X support Mac OS 10.5 Leopard?
A: No. Do not use System Optimizer X with Leopard, as it was not designed for
or tested with it. Using System Optimizer X with Leopard can yield unpredictable and unfavorable results. Use
Socks instead. An upgrade discount for registered users of
System Optimizer X is available.

Q: Is System Optimizer X still being developed?
A: No. System Optimizer X is built with a, now, outdated programming language. A full
re-design was deemed necessary, and now takes the form of Socks.

Q: When I download a new version of System Optimizer X do I have to uninstall the old one before install the new one?
A: No. In fact, you shouldn't. Uninstalling will remove the System Optimizer X preferenes
file which will erase your settings, and your registration code. The installer will do all the work for you.

Q: Why do all of my document icons appear generic after I Optimize / Clean Cache?
A: Document icons will appear generic because the cache file containing that information was
removed. Log out and log back in, or restart again to make the icons re-appear.
